What is a good presentation topic?

Asked by pterodactylover808 (144points) March 2nd, 2011

I need to pick a random topic for my spanish class to talk to my class about for 10 minutes. It can be about anything I just need to talk about it for a decent amount of time. Some examples that people have already done (No repeats):
Favorite TV shows
swimming
water polo
their family members
their favorite class
what they want to be when they grow up
summer vacation
facebook stalking
their job
breakfast
their cat
cake decorating

Your question is awkwardly worded – are you a teacher coming up with a list of topics for your students to choose from, or are you a student who needs to come up with a topic to speak about in Spanish to your class?

Do you have a favorite sport or a favorite team? Or perhaps a hobby that you enjoy. I’d pick something that I was interested in so it would be enjoyable for me
and your classmates. (I personally love to hear people tell about their parents or grandparents and what they did for a living and how they met their spouse and started a family.)

What are you interested in? I would pick that.

Pick a topic that you are familiar with the vocabulary. What topics has the class covered so far? Skim the book and see if any sections jump out at you.

I would do traveling, not only because it interests me, but saying names of places is a good way for people to follow along if they don’t know the language well yet.

Talk about something you have interest in—best yet, passion about.

This works for me:

Talk about something you are very familiar with.

Since I do not know your personal life, only you can make this decision.

Totally depends upon your interest.
