.exe on a mac?

I have a slideshow of pictures that I need to see on my macbook. the cd seems to be in .exe format & my notebook doesn’t come up with an application to open it.

.exe is a pc executable.

It wont run natively on a mac.

You could look for a folder on the cd that has the pictures referenced if the show was built that way.

It’s likely a standalone PowerPoint slideshow application that only works in Windows.

Haven’t tried it personally, but there’s a chance you might could upload it and view it online with Microsoft Office Live

well, seeing as you have a macbook, you could take a reroute and install paralels and windows, that way you could open the executable as well…but…isn’t there another way of retrieving those pictures?

If you open the cd to look at what is on it and there are folders on it, there may be one some where with the photos in it. It all depends on how it was built.
