Can you recommend a non-sticky root-lifting spray? (Hair question)

Asked by DarlingRhadamanthus (11273points) April 18th, 2011

Yes, it’s a hair question and nothing else…:)

I had a wonderful root-lifting liquid spray in a pump bottle that gave you lift and was not sticky or left a residue like hair spray. Unfortunately, it ran out and they do not make it anymore. I tried three other products…and they all are leaving my hair tacky and sticky.

Does anyone know of a good root-lifting product that gives you volume without the sticky/tacky hairspray feeling? (I already use a good shampoo and conditioner that don’t weigh my hair down…so I don’t need that….I just something to put into my hair afterward and before styling.)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

This one is awesome; weightless and smells really nice. A little pricey at the salon but a bottle lasts a very long time and I saw it much cheaper at Sally Beauty supply if you have one near you.

Catwalk Root Boost is awesome. I buy it at a salon. Not sure if you would consider it sticky? I have very fine hair, so a little stick is a good thing for me. Anything that leaves my hair very soft, means flat usually.
