New Google icon?

Asked by AshlynM (10684points) May 18th, 2011

I noticed a few minutes ago, Google had the fluther icon on the search bar and the new tab.

It’s gone now and back to the regular Google icon, but how does something like this happen?

Google change their icons and title fonts often, this is not unusual.

What browser are you using?

I get that sometimes, my browser mixes up icons. Not often and I can’t explain why.

Mozilla Firefox used to do this to me and I absolutely hated it, somehow it mixes up icons as you switch from bookmark to bookmark, one of the reasons I switched to the less popular Safari browser, (running Windows 7).

Internet Explorer browser…it’s not a complaint for me, I was just curious as to why Google had the fluther icon.

@AshlynM Well no wonder you’re experiencing weird things. Try using Firefox or Chrome.
