How do you import movies from iTunes to iMovie?

Asked by edimarco93 (78points) May 26th, 2011

Hi,
I have to detach the audio from Kenneth Branagh’s Hamlet. The only way I can do that is to import the film from iTunes into iMovie, but how do I do that?

Please and thank you

I don’t think you can because the movie studio’s still require DRM. There may be a third party vendor that can do it like HandBrake if you have the disk.

Don’t know for sure but….

Can you download it to an iPod/iPad and use the headphone jack as an output to your recorder?

It may have to come off the s-video

Depends on if the file has DRM on it. Either way http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/ will record the audio to a mp3 file. The app is 30 bucks if you want to capture something longer than 10 minutes.
