With the recent explosions of “netflix” and “mastercard” stock, where is a nice blog or site to begin getting information about such events….

There are a lot of financial web sites-everything from TheStreet.com to the Wall Street Journal web site that analyze upcoming IPOs.(Coming up in the next week or so: Groupon and Pandora) There are even IPO specific web sites, just google for IPOs.

You can also review the Securities and Exchange Commission web site for new filings.

Mastercard and Netflix have been public for quite a while, they’ve had good solid growth but I wouldn’t call them explosions.

Here in the Laureth house, we like The Motley Fool and Morningstar. Google Finance is also good for checking info and finding links to other data.

The finance-related articles on wikipedia are usually great.
