Which classic cartoon series would you like to see made into a movie next?

Asked by ucme (50047points) October 6th, 2011

They’ve done Scooby, Yogi, Inspector Gadget & a host of others, with limited success. Spielberg has made the promising looking Tintin movie. So if it were up to you, who’s up next?
For me, as long as it’s done well, i’d like to see a big screen reworking of Wacky Races…..oh yeah =0)

How about the original Johnny Quest.

Or, how about “the Jetsons”?

Seriously, @uberbatman said it best. They defiled Smurfs and Scooby Doo. Too much. I won’t forgive a lot of people for that.

“Defiled Smurfs.” Really? That was shit to start with though surely!

I think they should do a live action Snorks movie… in 3D. Seriously though, I think @YoBob said it best, they probably could do something interesting with Johnny Quest.

Tintin started out as comics long before they were cartoons. The cartoons were interetsing, but nowhere near as enchanting as the comic books. I hope the movie does the specific comics it’s basing itself on justice. Sure looks slick, anyways.

I’d love to see a Ren and Stimpy movie.

@ucme you did not just say that. I grew up watching it and I am an amazing person because of it :P

But seriously, no it wasn’t shit!
