Why do computers on tv have those wavy lines on them?

The computers will have black/gray lines wavering on the monitor. Sometimes they’re darker in color, sometimes they’re lighter. I hope you understand my question.
I assume it has something to do with the camera? But why?

You can see those by looking at your monitor with a camera or a very good photo camera.

Exactly what Tom said, it’s because they sync up.

Eh, technically not syncing up, but it phases in and out
