Do you know how to get Hydrogen beat machine to work on Lion OS X?

So Lion OS X Doesn’t support PowerPC. I was wondering if there is a plug-in that will help it function through Lion OS X

Run snow leopard in VMware or parallels. Then run your PowerPC app in that.

Hydrogen is Free / Open Source software. This means you can download the source code and compile it for your preferred platform.
I don’t know if the Mac comes with a development environment, but surely there must be a version of the GNU toolchain that works on Macintosh?
