Suggestions for Fashionable Winter Boots?

Asked by Praang (38points) November 10th, 2011

I’m looking for some fashionable winter boots for the approaching winter. Where I live, we can have a lot of snow, sleet, and slush…or it’s just INCREDIBLY cold. I’m not looking for a pair of boots to take up a mountain, but I would like to have some fashionable boots and still have warm feet.

Any suggestions???

www.zappos.com

I don’t normally post a lot of links to products willy-nilly but I had such a good experience dealing with them.

The neat thing is that they pay for shipping BOTH ways so if something doesn’t fit you can return it with no cost.

They’re just a great business. Primarily shoes and boots (both fashion and hiking) but they’ve also started adding some other kitchen stuff as well as clothing and luggage.

I usually focus my eyes on ugg boots, Since I love freedom and casual. You can try http://www.australias-ugg-boots.com.

I’m a boot whore lol
I have Uggs, Bear Paws are similar and really nice too Durangos, dressy high heeled, low heeled, short, tall, on & on.

I’d go for the Uggs for fashion and warmth, or, for short heeled, sexy-ish biker/cowboy look, not very warm, but outdoorsey..the Durangos.

I love boots!

Zappos.com is a wonderful site with great customer service, but I personally find it difficult to find what I’m looking for on the site.

This site lists some heavy winter boots that are more on the fashionable side.

I don’t know what your style is, but Uggs are more on trend than they are fashionable. They are quite expensive and the trend is likely to end soon, so I don’t personally recommend making the investment.

I love Piperlime.com. It’s a a general fashion site, but it is mostly a fashion shoe source, and they have a great selection for different tastes, from trendy to classic. I don’t know what your budget is, but their shoes are, overall, on the more expensive side. However, they are also top quality. I have tried to list a range of their more affordable shoes that might fit your style and needs below.

I found these boots on Piperlime which I thought might fit your needs and your fashion sense, and they’re not too expensive.

These also appear that they are warm/comfortable and can handle the elements, but are stylish at the same time.

Boots like these are also in style right now, but seem warm and durable.

If you’re not too fond of any of these suggestions or want to look at more on the site, go to this page and do a ctrl + f search for the phrase “hiker booties.” There are plenty of options that might fit what you want from the “Hiker Booties” section down to the bottom of the page.

Minnetonka Boots are super cute and warm :) Also.. UGG boots, but as they are widely worn, I personally do not find them to be fashionable anymore. However, many people would disagree on that. I do have a couple pairs though, since they are super comfortable.

www.herringtoncatalog.com has some great boots. I just bought a pair on Cyber monday at 20% off. http://www.herringtoncatalog.com/mens-boots.html

Ugg boots are best to wear in winters and stay warm. You can get boots with fur, they look great with every kind of dress, Minnetonka Boots are also good.
