What can happen if I drink more than 3 Java Monsters a day?

Asked by stemnyjones (3976points) December 18th, 2011

I just noticed now noticed that on bottles of Java Monsters, it says “limit 3 per day”. Because of problems I’ve been having with lethargy lately, I’ve been drinking more than 3 a day once or twice a week (no medical advice needed on the lethargy – I know what’s causing it). I was wondering what exactly can happen if you over-consume them.

Edit: Forgot an important tid-bit. I’m taking Ritalin, about 10–15mg a day.

At the very least I would imagine it could lead to sleeplessness, palpitations, jitters, upset stomach… etc.

Too much sugar intake can increase risk of heart disease, diabetes, and tooth decay. Try limit to two a day.

When taking medication (such as Ritalin) please consult your MD about drinking, or otherwise consuming anything else – such as more than the recommended amount of something.

You could rack up your kidneys and liver, while the desperately try to clean that crap out of your blood stream.
