Does it have to be modern? I was thinking of a couple of older ones you might like.

Who do you already like? That might make it easier for us to make recommendations.

Nickleback, lol.

Just kidding, I don’t know, I listen to modern metal, but not rock. Maybe A Perfect Circle. If you like Tool, you’ll like them.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Blackberry Leave Nickleback alone or we have a problem.

The Gaslight Anthem
Manchester Orchestra
Rise Against
Foxy Shazam

These are some absolutely wonderful rock bands, there entire music catalogs are amazing and I urge you or anyone to check them out. Also, see them live if you ever get the chance, ‘cause they’re all amazing live as well.

@Adirondackwannabe Oh go on then. I’m already a fan of Queen, Oasis and Iron Maiden btw.

I’m a big fan of Nickelback too, but I don;t think me linkng them would go down very well :P

@MilkyWay I was going to suggest Head East, UFO, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Blue Oyster Cult, and Rainbow with Ronnie James Dio. They were before you time but good.

I think you might like this young duo of Swedish (English speaking/singing) sisters called First Aid Kit. Apparently they’re only 19 and 16 years of age. Awesome!!!

Cool! :D
Thanks guys!

I think that they are not prominent any longer, but Queensryche is one of my favorites. You also can’t go wrong with Tool and early Def
Leppard.
