I thought some clever bean would have already taken iamthewalrus. So I decided to spruce it up a little bit, hence iamatypeofwalrus.

richardhenry's avatar

It was on my birth certificate. :) Sorry to be boring.

I dropped the last two letters from my name, Gail Calder, and liked the pun.

delirium's avatar

I think zack needs to go, yes.

gailcalled's avatar

Again? He certainly likes to waste his and everyone else’s time. A dieu.

delirium's avatar

I think its pretty sad, actually. Someone with that little to do must have a terrible brain/life indeed.

MisterBlueSky85's avatar

Nah, it’s probably just boredom and a little bit of mischief. Boys’ll be boys.

You’ve already made it definitive. I feel bad for you.

And misterblue: It goes way beyond this. Trust me, its past boys’ll be boys.

We can at least note that Awww, or whatever his latest nom de plume is, has a varied and original vocabulary.

shockvalue's avatar

anyways, to answer the question: it’s just the name of my graphic design company.

I find it pretty funny that this is a kid who considers himself to be a ‘good Christian’ and defines himself as such.

Its just funny that you consider yourself a good person when you get off on annoying other people. Its oxymoronic.
Someone who holds the rest of hte world up to such strict rules and lets himself do whatever he wants is quite obviously NOT the good little christian boy he pretends he is.

My username is a double-entendre of “sound” “freak,” and “sound” and “frequency”; I know-it’s really quite nerdy-but audio enthusiasts get the jist of it (I think).

Also, kind of a funny thing, I had to change my username because people were mistaking the “Q” for a “G”, and calling me “sndfreg”, so that explains the upper-case Q.

Cheers everyone-great discussion in spite of the noise-thanks for keeping the spirit.

Awww's avatar

SndfrQ you rock

richardhenry's avatar

He actually does aswell. I figured out the username when you gave an amazingly informed response to a question about headphones. :)

marinelife's avatar

Mine is my first name, which I picked myself.

Awww's avatar

What is everyone’s IQ here?

richardhenry's avatar

@Awww: what’s that got to do with anything?

ezraglenn's avatar

AH!
it’s my name.
Is this going to be the next question with the highest number of answers?
@gail – interesting.

Alina1235's avatar

my first name and my husbands police badge number

richardhenry's avatar

@ezraglenn: Only 600 something to go… take a look at the Fluther story question. :)

ezraglenn's avatar

believe me, I’ve seen it.

Kay's avatar

First letter of my name spelled phonetically. It’s a nickname that some people use for me too.

Awww's avatar

I’m just wondering, you guys are Einsteins

AstroChuck's avatar

Mine is simple. Just my aol screen name. Pretty lame, huh?
@MrBlueSky85 – E.L.O. totally rocks! “A New World Record” is in my top 3 albums of all time.

phoenyx's avatar

username from a BBS I used to visit back in the day of 300 baud modems.

Randy's avatar

It’s my name! =)

shrubbery's avatar

My nickname is Shrub, even teachers at my school call me that. My friends have variations of it that they call me, shrubbery included, which is the one that the friend who introduced me to this site uses so that’s what I chose.

sarbee's avatar

mine is the fist three letters from my name combined with bee, as in the buzzing animal

jlm11f's avatar

My fluther name is the same as my Askville name. But when I was coming up with one for Askville it was originally proudnlazy, eventually i got a nickname of PnL and so here I am. As for the reason of the original name, there’s a story behind that but its not interesting enough to be told :)

bulbatron9's avatar

Mine is self explanitory!

Trustinglife's avatar

TrustingLife is my basic philosophy.

It’s a reminder to myself – and to you if you want it – that Life can be trusted.

TheHaight's avatar

My name: favorite street/ represent!

&zack…... Get a life, please.

wildflower's avatar

Several reasons:
– I like wildflowers
– I was listening to the song of this name by Bon Jovi at the time
– I like that it may give the impression I’m a bit of hippy/flower-child (although I’m anything but)
– If I were a flower, I would be some sort that would grow anywhere, on its own.

bluemukaki's avatar

It’s my username for most things, I think I made it for an account to play America’s Army and the name just stuck.

iwamoto's avatar

i’m named after a japanese fighter ace, called tetsuzo iwamoto, been using this name for 4/5 years now

breedmitch's avatar

Sorry I missed the bru-ha-ha.
here’s an old link.
BTW. Anyone know where segdeha went?

marinelife's avatar

@breedmitch I was reading some old threads a couple of days ago and was wondering the same thing. I was not around when sedgeha posted. A lost voice.

kornered's avatar

I chose this name, because this is how I feel. Kornered in by demands, issues, time, money, and my own lack of ability.

iwamoto's avatar

isn’t it…like…cornered ?

kornered's avatar

Sure, cornered=kornered—I just like the kooky spelling. It is kind of like some shops calling themselves shoppes.

gailcalled's avatar

Cooky spelling is fun; is it is cind “of like some shops“or just “like some shops?”

There is a trend among the younger generation to add “sort of” or “kind of” when it is unnekessary and only klogs up the message, cind of.

Sorry that you feel that way, however. Any new solutions possible?

kornered's avatar

Solutions to what? My feelings or my name? At this time I think I will just leave both as is. Thanks.

gailcalled's avatar

Your feelings of being cornered. Can we help?

90s_kid's avatar

@mods
Comeon, is that really necessary?
