Run it from a different browser.
Run one in Firefox and the other in IE or Chrome.

That used to happen to me all the time, and I would get so annoyed. Eventually, I just got so mad that I made another youtube account with my email address so both would stay logged in. It’s the easiest solution if you don’t feel like having two browsers open, like @blueiiznh suggested.

Try going here. I had this problem because I made my youtube account before I made my gmail account. You can unlink them, and make your youtube account linked to a different account.

Yep actually you can opt to use multiple google accounts in your account settings portal in Google. You can switch between them and/or use them independently

@gambitking The last time I experimented with this (admittedly a couple of years ago), it was very unsuccessful. If I remember correctly, it was impossible to be simultaneously logged into gmail in one window, and logged out of google on another. At that time, I think that the usefulness of “multiple google accounts” was limited to gmail accounts but not other google products. If this has changed, I would be interested to know if people are using it successfully. I’ve pretty much reached the end of my patience with experimentation.
