How do I add PDFs to Evernote?

Asked by Aethelflaed (13752points) April 23rd, 2012

I have a lot of PDFs I need to add to my Evernote. How do I do this? Can I add entire folders of PDFs to Evernote at one time, or do I need to do each individually? Can Evernote do OCR for these?

If the PDF is text (as opposed to an image, most will be) then Evernote makes it searchable.

I’m not sure if it will do OCR on an image, but my guess is no.

As far as getting it in, on Mac you can drag things to the Evernote program and they’re added, or print them to the folder and they’re added.

On Windows you can go to File -> Attach Files or just drag them in and they’ll sync up.

Does that help?

I usually just drag and drop them @Aethelflaed. That has always worked for me.
