How much do you think I can get in a pawn shop for a 21" tv Sanyo tube flatscreen?

Much less than you could by selling it on CraigsList. Most people use pawn shops for quick cash via stolen property.

It also might be good to ask your friends if they might want it. They’d pay more than a stranger, wouldn’t they?

pawnshops rip people off….
I tried selling a $100 scanner, it was new and they offered me $15 for it.

Pawn shops typically “loan” 10 to 15 percent of the fair market value of an item, minus depreciation. If that TV’s fair market value is $30 for example, they would give you max ~$5.00

Better off trying craigslist.
