Can anyone recommend a bank in Texas for my small business?

Asked by cityshark (100points) November 4th, 2012

I’m starting my first business and want to feel comfortable with a long-term financial institution. My personal experience with Wells Fargo has been lukewarm and I’ve heard great things about Chase. Can anyone recommend a bank who is reliable, stable, and less likely to be penny-pinchers such as Wells fargo?

Credit unions and smaller banks may give you a better deal – they often pay more interest on deposits, they charge less interest on loans and they aren’t nickel and diming people on fees like the big banks.

I second the local Credit Unions.
