Why do people wait to say 'I love you' to their loved one/s and others until it's too late?

To a lot of males I reckon its simply that that level of affection is seen as uncool and corny (for want of a better word). Stupid I know.

All people do not behave this way, either males or females. Question is much too general and vague.

I agree with gailcalled not everyone is like this, but most people do take loved ones and life for granted. Life is short and they usually don’t realize it until it’s too late.

I say it so often, I have to check myself at work, Sometimes just before hanging up with a client I catch myself starting to say it!!

Cuz fear, shyiness,and not sure about his fealings or hers.these are the main reasons ,i bet.
