Have you ever made a New Year's resolution and actually kept it?

Asked by SadieMartinPaul (8997points) December 27th, 2012

Every year, people vow to improve their health and fitness, organize their time, form better relationships with family and friends, etc.

Such resolutions usually get dropped by mid-January. Intentions may be good, but each of us is the same person in the New Year as he/she was in December.

Have you ever stuck with a resolution? If yes, how did it change your life?

I decided to stop biting my finger nails and kept it. So now I don’t go around with my finger nails between my teeth, a nasty and unsanitary habit.

I’ve made lists in the past. Anyone here want to go vegan with me the whole year? I’m willing to try and have an internet pen pal. That would be awesome!

No, and I don’t even bother any more.

Never took any. I’m perfect, I don’t need to change.
