Why won't Google Earth work with my Direct X ?

Asked by antimatter (4429points) March 29th, 2013

I installed a secondhand 125 Mb cg card into my old computer. Google Earth worked fine on the older 64 Mb cg card and now Google Earth will not open using this card. Open CL does not to work with this card and and Google Earth wont open with my current version of Direct X. I am using Windows XP service pack 3 and got 500 Mb ram.

Did you install the driver provided by the card’s manufacturer? The standard drivers that come with Windows can not do 3D.

I did install the driver but Google Earth shows a message that it’s not compatible with the card. Last resort is to start Google Earth in Direct X mode.

Tried searching online for the latest drivers for that card?
