Absolutely. Best Buy and Lowe’s sells the modules, and you can download he app free. Amazon probably has them too, but you’d want to buy it in person.

Belkin WeMo system.
But I haven’t actually tried it.
Meanwhile all my old X-10 devices are collecting dust.

Hello Josie, it’s a good idea to control home lights and other devices through our iPhone and iPod. Light control system helps you to control light and save electricity. There are many lighting control systems available in market which gives control over lighting through iPhone. Here I am mentioning some systems from them.
INSTEON
UPB
X-10
Z-Wave
ZigBee
We can take INSTEON to know more. INSTEON includes wall switches and dimmers, plug-in lamp, appliance controllers, thermostats and more. This app connects you to your Smartphone or tablet. You may receive instant email or text alerts by sensors while you’re away from home.
Hope you may enjoy this. Thanks.
