Asked by rockfan (14627points) May 27th, 2013 from iPhone

I’m planning on having all these foods together:

Old Fashioned Oatmeal
Whole Ground Flaxseed
Red Quinoa
Chia Seeds
Blueberries
Banana
Cinnamon

Mabye I’ll just have to drink alot of water with it?

Nope, not too much. It’s not like it is 100% Bran Flakes. Your mix will move you, but not cause cramping.

It’s all good and all delicious. Good for you for grinding the flaxseeds. ( I hope you grind the Chia seeds as well. The other one that mixes well with these two is sesame seed, ground.)

An additional addition is some walnut pieces.

As long as you feel fine seems ok to me.

If the methane gas production doesn’t overwhelm you, all should be well.

No such thing as too much fiber for breakfast. Most Westerners never eat enough.

Delicious. I frequently eat something of that nature for my meals though I get bored and mix it up.

At one point in time societies like the mayan’s diet consisted of 75 to 85 % fiber. It is far better then eating fiber supplements or being constipated. Your body may need a little time to adjust. Depending on your current diet. When people start intaking more water for example for the first few days you might several more trips to the loo. Unless the increase is gradual. But regardless in a couple of days your body evens out.
