How do I get rid of this stupid icon on my RCA TV/DVD Combo?

I have a tv/DVD combo like I mentioned from RCA and just a couple minutes ago this annoying icon appears near the middle of the screen that doesn’t go away. The icon is a movie camera and next to it is “½”. Is there some kind of glitch thinking it’s in ½ speed or something? I tried all the buttons on my remote and it doesn’t go away. It’s small and in the long run you can still watch movies and stuff if you really don’t care, but it’s still annoying that the icon is just there all the time.

I noticed it didn’t show up during the movie menu. It only shows up when the movie is playing.

I always try to turn off and turn on or reboot first to see if that will work. Have you tried that?

Yep. Numerous times. Still there.

I just used it recently too, like Sunday, and it was fine.

Thankfully, the icon doesn’t appear when I’m playing video games. I mostly use that TV for playing old/retro games. It only appears when I’m playing a DVD.

I’m thinking of resetting the TV. I never did anything like that before. . .shouldn’t do anything bad, right? I never really customized any settings so it’s not like it means anything.
