What are the major differences between these two versions of the Dragon Ball manga?

I have two of the VizBig editions on the right. But they recently released the editions on the left. I don’t know if the left editions are more “complete” or “true” to the original manga compared to the VizBig editions – or if they are the exact same thing. Both are 3-in-1 editions.

All I know is that the VizBig has some colored pages in the opening of each volume. But the new editions are marketed as “complete and uncut” or whatever, which makes me wonder if there’s more content or if they’re just BSing.

Well, if they say “Complete and uncut”, it’s probably the same exact thing.
I have heard that they recut the series, and the new version is much better, but I don’t know if that is what you have.

So I finally found out after all this time.

The newer versions are just the entire Dragon Ball series in one continuous set, meaning that they don’t separate them between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.

Also there are very minor instances of censorship in the VizBig editions I have. Just minor censorships in the artwork for Western audiences when they thought a particular character was depicted with racial prejudice, so they tweaked the look.

That’s all, really.
