What are some benchmarks for an adult development of intra and intro personal skills?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24468points) March 9th, 2016

I was graded In kindergarten for my intra and intro personal skills. Then the grading turned to math and acedemic skills. What are some benchmarks for adult level emotional intelligence? Also for fun would you ace kindergarten if you went back for a day? Do you remember you kindergarten grades? Did you keep your old report cards? Feel free to share?

There are people who are people oriented, there are people who are technically oriented.

Not that they are always mutually exclusive, but…

The public education institution has decided it must a) distinguish between the two and b) try to influence everybody into the latter but as a concession make everybody team players as if that was satisfying the interests of the former.

Adults can make decisions based on objective truth, not indoctrination.

I aced kindergarten without help.

It went downhill after that.

I was never graded in kindergarten. My kids weren’t either.

The benchmarks for emotional intelligence is recognizing different feelings and emotions in oneself and others and labeling them properly, and using emotional information to guide one’s thinking and behavior.

I would pass kindergarten if I went back for a day now, but I would get the same thing in the comments which I did back then….
“Instigates some bad behavior with the others.”
