The one you feed, which most folk probably imagine is the good wolfy.

And then a bad girlfriend steals his credit cards and runs off with the bad wolf. Cuz they’re bad like that.

The one you feed. What you send out, you attract back to you.

Obviously it’s a metaphor. Neither one wins because that’s not what it’s about. They go round and round and the winners are those who see how this relates to life and death and who gains wisdom and balance from that understanding.

If one is male and the other is female they’ll procreate. The offspring is balance (whether it’s metaphorically or not).

What life has taught me thus far, the one of dark and despair will win ultimately. Hope is always disappointing, failing… a false construct.

If as you say, they’re always fighting, then either the pair are evenly matched & an ultimate victor has to emerge, or the one who is beaten most, stubbornly refuses to back down, brave, proud…stupid?

I’ve learned to be suspicious of opposites. They so often turn out to be two sides of the same beast. They appear to fight only because we love it when one side is turned toward us and hate it when the other side comes around. It’s we who urge the two sides into conflict because we want the one to vanquish the other.

Left alone, this two-sided beast isn’t at war with itself. It just turns now this way, now that way, all of a piece.

Ugh… this stupid appropriative nonsense again.

And by the way, it’s spelled “Madubuko Diakité.”
