Will I get infected? NSFW?

Asked by Asim_Wolfy (29points) November 5th, 2017

I paid an escort (sex worker) for sex. I used a condom but I licked her vagina for around 5–10 seconds.

Will I get infected? What are the signs and symptoms and how can I get tested?

Well, you might pick up an STI. Did she have any visible open sores where you licked? That would make it more likely.

The more serious infections, however, are not so evident, and require testing. And you will have to wait a little bit.

From Health Central:

If you have had unprotected sex and are worried about an STD or HIV, you should get tested 1 to 2 weeks after and again 90 days later. This is because different STDs are detected at different times: Chlamydia – anytime from 1 week to 3 weeks. Gonorrhea – anytime from 2 days to 30.

You can get tested at any clinic. In the United States, Planned Parenthood is the best all around location for help on sexual health.

Be responsible now: no unprotected sex with anyone until after your second test in 90 days, and then only with a monogamous partner.

And next time, practice safe sex.

It depends on if she was carrying a disease beforehand. We don’t know that. It’s not as if ALL sex workers have some disease or another. In fact, from what I read, transmitting disease is bad for their business so they try and keep healthy.

So there’s no way to be sure other than to go to a clinic and find out. There are so many diseases (everything from syphilis and gonorrhea all the way up to AIDS) with so many different symptoms, it’s impossible to list them all.

There are too many variables. If you’re truly concerned, go to the doctor and asked to get checked for std’s.

This sounds familiar with the question asked by women if they’ll get STD from sucking a penis and swallowing the sperm. I’ll say that your saliva can kill the bacteria, and if that’s not enough your stomach acid will do the rest of the job for you.
