Which is more fun ice skating or roller skating?

Also which one is difficult to master out of these two? If you have any incident to share related to them you’re welcome to do so.

I thought that Ice skating was more fun and less painful. If you’re ice skating and you fall, there’s a good chance you’ll slide. If you’re roller skating, you go down and friction holds you in place.

I think that ice skating was more forgiving, as well.

I agree with @elbanditoroso . I can ice skate but can’t roller skate. I see people using roller blades on the sidewalk and it looks like fun but I just can’t do it. I’ve tried. Also falling on ice is less damaging than falling on a sidewalk.

Yeah, ice is a lot less abrasive than concrete when you fall.

You can go more places on roller skates. I have fond memories of roller skating up and down the boardwalk in San Diego when I was a child. You are limited when you want to ice skate.
