Have you rebuild your life / career at any point in time?
How was the experience to start from scratch? What was the learning in overall process?

Two and a half years into a career reboot. It’s harder than I thought it would be as I have basically started from near square one. It was like going from a seasoned professional to getting that first job out of college all over again.
I’m doing it right now.
Three October floods destroyed over 95% of my belongings, in a two year span. I now have a bed, after sleeping on a couch since the first flood. I have a kind of new couch too. I just moved into a small house, after living with my family and friends for a few months.
I’m also quiting my job as a LEO. I am looking for work as a bartender, and hopefully will find employment in that area soon. The bartenders, in my city, make lots of money.
Last October, I had almost nothing. Now, I’m trying to get my life in order.
I think I learned what’s really important in life. Belongings, are replaceable. That being said, I will probably appreciate my stuff more now. I definitely won’t be living somewhere flood prone anymore…
^Good to hear that your life is back on the track now ( may not be 100% but I’m sure it will be soon).
