Can i play HEVC movies on a core2duo?

Hy all, I have an E8400 core2duo with an RV710 GPU video and 4 GB DDR2 dual channel RAM 332 Mhz dram frequency, on an Optiplex 775 motherboard and I wonder if I could play HEVC movies somehow, with a software trick?

You could try but I find it tremendously unlikely. HEVC murders CPUs. I just tested a rather low bitrate 1080P HEVC file on a 7770K with 32GB of RAM and a 1050TI and that even used a considerable amount of CPU use in VLC.
