Would you explain how passes work, let's say from a gym that opens from 6 to 2 am? See detail.

If someone wants to explain how a pass works, whether it’s the 3 days in a row pass, or the weekly one or the monthly one, the weekend pass, etc., is there anything to add to “You can use it any time during the opening hours, from the time you start using it, (except for the monthly one which goes from 1st day of the month to last day, or any 30 or 31 days in a row) to the closing time of the last day of the duration of the pass” Is there anything else to it?

You summed it up nicely, such passes are good for the duration.

If you are given a three day pass, it begins the day you first go to the gym. It will be date stamped when you start it. If you started at 1 p.m. today with a three day pass, you can go today, Wednesday, and Thursday until closing time, even if it closes after midnight. It is not at all good for Friday. 3 days is 3 calendar days, not 72 hours.

Different businesses may have different rules, though. The best practice when you first activate a pass is to ask the desk when it expires.

Just what Zenvelo said. Ask the person who gave you the pass how long it’s good for.
No way for us to know because we don’t know the parameters of the pass.

@zenvelo I agreed with you until the last paragraph. I mean why would it be necessary to ask at the desk? What if I got the answer “it’s only good until 10 pm?” That wouldn’t make sense.
What if they say “It’s only till closing time for people over 5 feet tall” There is no earthly reason for any condition.

Because the people who issued the pass are the only ones who know the parameters of the pass. All passe are different. We here on fluther don’t know the parameters of the pass you are asking about.
