Are these aliens playing games with humans for their own amusement?

They move too fast for focus.

Aliens are not going to make it easy. Three or more demerits for leaving a trace to earthlings interfered with. Not like they are going to stop and smile. Use video on your phone not picture mode next time .

Same thing with the loch nest monster.

Agreed with @zenvelo here. Try taking a candid photo of a bird, a plane, superman, balled lightening,, etc etc.

Presuming they exist, unless the thing is hovering over a field for a duration, you cannot focus on a good shot, or set up one.

The photos aren’t blurred. That’s what they look like.

Motionblur, image stabilisation being either non-existant, or unable to cope with jittery hands and the long distances involved, digital zoom in lieu of optical zoom, active ECM by the spaceship.

Also, even if the images were razor sharp, you would all scream “CGI!” anyway.

Because they’re fake.

They probably are fake, true. Or we can presume, for sake of discussion, they aren’t

I would be less convinced by something clear that OBVIOUSLY was a definable unidentified flying object.

Because the delusional plebs who shoot these fake pics think the dynamic adds realism.
