Aren’t you basically asking “Is life fair?”

Answer – no. It isn’t. Every now and then you get lucky, but more often than not, things don’t go the way you want. This isn’t externally managed by some superior being – it’s the way life is. If a superior being were managing life, why is it so screwed up?

Karma is just another way of saying ‘god’ in a non-theological way. And the answer to your question is still ‘no’. It’s a throw of the dice each time with a 30-sided die.

No, there isn’t. But our actions bring on reactions that some could consider Karma.

I don’t think there’s some arbitrator of justice that ensures that you’re punished for every wrong and rewarded for every right you do. That said, I do think being a virtuous person will tend to bring about postitive outcomes in your life (not via supernatural means) and often being a villainous person leads to negative outcomes (though not as often as I’d like).

“Do unto others as you would want to you”...proverb comes to mind.
Treat others fairly and just and they will to you, otherwise Karma will come around to make sure that one learns to.

Just because you treat other’s fairly doesn’t mean you’ll be treated fairly in return.

No. Shit is, just like shit happens. No reason.

Oops. Belay the apostrophe in “others.”

It increases the odds. “Our actions bring on reactions that some could consider Karma.”

Yes, of course it increases the odds. All of our actions have consequences. But it’s not a guarantee as @Inspired_2write seemed to suggest.
Again, nothing at all to do with Karma.

I’ve witnessed things, that could be described as Karma. Bit the vast majority of my observations, suggest that is not real. In fact, quite the opposite. Bad people, cheaters, etc, often have great lives, with little or no ramifications, for what we perceive as immoral behavior.

Unless, you consider death itself karma. But that would indicate that we have all done something worthy of death…

In many circumstances, there really isn’t a chance for Karma to “react” to. Like a baby dying a slow, miserable death, before it could be capable of even moving much, or thinking much…
