Oh weekends without question.
Not that i’m this wild party animal, far from it, just i’ve always loved the end of the week or Thurs evening onto Sunday afternoon to be more precise.

Ever since a kid the early part of the week my auto pilot is engaged, loving life, in control but kinda cruising through.
Weekends are like some wonderful utopian paradise beckoning us like a sultry mistress on heat XD

@ucme -This is the first time I have heard weekends described that way. XD

I do my best work under pressure. It’s like my brain needs that kick in the pants to focus.

Without that pressure, my brain is just all over the place. And easily distracted.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@raum – I sometimes wonder that about myself. How can I possibly like pressure and deadlines? HOW?
I have something right now hanging over my head & if I wasn’t sick for the last 10 days, I’d have no excuse.
So I need to spend this time wisely coming up with a new one. XD

I think the afternoon hours if we are talking about work and being productive.

If you mean the best regarding mood, I’d say in the early evening.

Mostly, I don’t like the mornings, I don’t like being rushed in the morning, and I don’t like having to wake up early. If I have to wake early once in a while I will never complain, but having to wake daily in the morning is agony for me, I hate it. Since I don’t like it, I am not at my best.

In terms of actions that show me at my best, I would say helping people. I’m very patient, good at training people, good with children. I don’t mind explaining something step by step or twice. I also felt I was a great manager. My staff was always very loyal and hard working, and I miss being a manager.

@JLeslie -I am not an AM person either.

And those AM people basically rule the world. We have electricity now, we don’t need to follow daylight.

A few minutes after successful contemplation on what makes a man a man and a decent one too. You’ll find me at my best then given any scenario in day to day life.
