I'm looking for an old movie?

The movie is before 80s, maybe black and white.
I remember only two scenes:
1 – an evil stepmother – in a white nightgown – try to kill her twins stepdaughters (blonde haired) with a knife and one of them is stabbed in her back
2 – she want to cut a birthday cake with the same knife.
