How do I do a color pass in Final Cut Express?

The 3-way color corrector that I so love is gone from FCE. How do I do this without buying a plugin?

(Just a repeat of the other post)...sorry for the delay friend…

This article confirmed what I had supposed about FCE: no real-time color correction. I have FCE on my iMac at home and work with FCP at work (teaching at a college media department). I can best guess that Apple decided that real-time color correction is a “pro feature” and had to draw the line somewhere. They did refer to the non-real-time color correction that was introduced in FCP v.3.

I had read articles confirming what sndfreQ indicated above (It was a bit ago).

Sorry about that. I don’t know why I didn’t get it.

I think I may not have used the right terminology. Thanks so much for responding now, both of you.
