Does anyone remember a Fluther commercial running years ago?

I didn’t even know there was a commercial about Fluther.

Do you remember the form of it? Like whether it was a TV commercial or an online ad?

@KRD Maybe there wasn’t and I’m just completely delirious? That’s why I’m asking the question. :P

@Mimishu1995 I think it was actually on television? Though, again, entirely possible that I’m totally off base here. My memory has been pretty shot during the pandemic.

Haven’t found any commercial so far, but I found this article that talks about an app.

I never heard of a commercial for it and I was pretty aware of Fluther from the beginning.

Just sent this question to Andrew and Ben. Hopefully they’re around to scratch this brain itch. :P

I think it might have been related to the launch of the Apple App Store in 2008?

@raum I think there was a write up of it somewhere, perhaps in a tech magazine at some point. Or perhaps there were mentions of Fluther when Ben and Andrew went to work at Twitter?

Andrew was in a Superbowl commercial once, maybe that’s what you’re remembering?

@janbb It was before Twitter. And I don’t read lots of tech magazines. :P
