General Question

My bagel is rock hard...

I forgot to refrigerate these great H&H; bagels. The microwave/water combo isn't doing anything other than making a hot stone. Any other suggestions? Could I soak it first, or would that just make it a soggy rock? I'm hungry!

Buy a humidifier, leave the bagel out, and turn it on. It will soften the bagel.

Or hold bagel in tongs over small saucepan of boiling water. Or go out for breakfast and stock up on provisions. Or invite yourself to neighbor's for a snack.

I don't want to meet the person who calls that area of his body, the part that can be affected by Viagra, His "Bagel"

If all else fails, try toasting it. A hard toasted bagel can be more edible than a hard untoasted one.

Throw it out and start over. What's the point of eating stale bread? A tasteless waste of calories with no value to your body. Just a lump in your tummy.

When my bagels get hard, I use them for croƻtons on salad, just spread with butter, sprinkle with spice mix and toast in the oven for a few minutes, then cut them up.
