Hire some accountants to make it last, keep my parents comfortable, get an apartment, a nice car, and chill out.

Give away 80 million.

1 – pay off every debt I have
2 – establish a series of accounts to ensure financial independence for myself and my family
3 – help out all of my friends and non-immediate family
4 – retire to a life of philanthropy and hedonism

I would pay off a bunch of my friends’s student loans and then start a scholarship program from kids from single parent families. I was lucky, but so many our there aren’t. Obviously, regardless of financial situation, this would include dolly’s daughter. :)

Take a nap in it. Then feel icky about how dirty the money probably is.

I’d live a modest but comfortable life for the rest of my days.

I would set up scholarships for low income students; fund child care centers; sponsor on-going mentoring programs; fund a sh*tload of little leagues type education & sports groups (personal finance, math, entrepreneurship, chess, swimming, fencing, etc).

Ah! and maybe would take a shot at getting of the ground my fantasy: a Mondragon -style CDC !

rofl cakes because I keep it real man. While all these answers sound fine they are so terribly boring and not what anyone would actually do. I know I’d buy a lamborghini, a bentley coupe, a lotus and a mazerati. I would go to brazil and have fun with all the models then goto Europe and do the same thing. Then I’d build a life like robot Godzilla and have it attack Japan! I would also get some boats and sail the Earth. I would hide treasure and have big pirate competitions to see who found it first. Then I’d buy up all the big macs in the world and give them to 3rd world countries along with buildings and cars! Oh and I would plan a trip to the moon with me and some close friends, but no drinking (hehe). I would buy me and my girl an island to chill on too with servants and those coconut drinks. You guys are boooooring. snoooooze.

You’re keepin it real? Why do you assume that it is my question that makes these answers boring, and not the people who answer it? In other words, why are you dumping on me for other people’s “boring” answers?
