Can future potential employers do a check of your social security number and see all your previous employers? What can employers see with your SSN?

I doubt it, because if employers could get that information, anyone could invade your privacy simply by saying they are thinking of employing you.

I believe the Privacy Act puts limitations on exactly who can see your social security number and use that information that was found there. Also, I believe employers are required to obtain your permission (in a written request and signed by you) to access any of that data.

Yes thay can and they can do a credit check…see the app they made you sign/fill out to see what they’ll be checking.

I don’t think social security gives out those records but like spatzie said, they may get the info from your credit report.
