This latest series of events has got me a little paranoid. Anyone out there have similar symtoms and if so what was the outcome?

You might be experiencing diabetic neuropathy

Thanks Snoopy, I’ll read up on it.

I second Snoopy’s possible diagnosis…go to the doc, it’s nothing to fool around with!

I just pulled up a website that explained all the different types. It looks like I might have the Peripheral type. Good thing I have a Doctors appointment on Monday.Other than a Podiatrist do you know what other specialists might be good to see? Once you’ve had cancer a few times this diabetes shit is parr for the course! Thank you kindly.

@amurican Your primary care doctor will be your best guide as to what other specialists you might need beyond a podiatrist.
Best wishes.

You should visit a podiatrist who specializes in diabetic foot care at least once a year. Diabetics commonly lose feeling in their feet which can lead to serious problems, such as non healing wounds, gangrene, and loss of limb. I don’t mean to scare you, but it’s a good idea to visit a podiatrist at least once to get tips on how to inspect/ care for your feet.
