Hosting a free Wordpress blog. Interesting. Did you try wordpress.com?

Most hosts aren’t going to offer those serviced ad-free for free. I can’t think of a single one. Everyone needs a business model. And even if I found one, I certainly wouldn’t trust it for stability and security.

Setup a blog on Wordpress.com. You can add a custom domain through your blog control panel. You can buy a domain using a service like Gandi.net or GoDaddy.com. This is the closest you’re going to get to what you want.

I’ve already have a domain name, my own. But I don’t want to buy web-space as well, so I search for a free opportunity. As I mentioned I’m using the wordpress-motor, but I want to take the script to my own space, not on wordpress.com…

You’re going to have to pay a hosting company like Media Temple for something like that.

Ok, tell me the cheapest solution than…

GoDaddy.com have really cheap hosting, as do 123-Reg.com and SimplyNames.com.

Gandi.net hosting is better, and MediaTemple.net better still. Slicehost.com is pure awesome.

Seriously though, if all you’re doing is running a blog, hook up your domain to a Wordpress.com account, which will host and manage the Wordpress install for you. You also get a gigabyte of file storage for media.

Good luck.

Also, a “please” will get you far in life. We’re real people, not a pay-per-text Q&A service.

Dude, you are right! :) Sorry for skipping ‘please’...
Thanks for the useful site-addresses.
