Play some Marvin Gaye, get the wife to take vacation with me, I don’t think I’d leave the bedroom to eat for 3 days :-)

I’d probably just veg out.

I would spend three days in Egypt, my dream vacation spot. I would have to have a ton of money and the guarantee that I would be safe for the time I was there.

More grounded in reality, I would spend one whole day in my comfy bed watching whatever I want to on TV. The other two days I would go on a shopping spree and indulge!!

Drive up to Lake Superior and stay in a beautiful chalet. We would watch the sunset while we had a fire in the fireplace, drink some local beer, and walk on the beach.

Play Warcraft and watch House.

Movies, I would watch lots and lots of movies. At home, in the theater, on my laptop at Borders. I would watch movies and drink lots of soy chai.

I am unemployed with no kids. I’m not really worried about money. I will spend the next three days eating, drinking beer, fucking around, and coding a worthless app. The same thing I have done for the last two weeks.

I’d sleep late, get up and fiddle at the computer while coffee soaked in, and then play. Except that I would probably work in a few chores and errands and would definitely plan some writing time. One day I would never put shoes on at all. Most likely I’d finish with a great NetFlix movie. Not having to go to work would almost be enough of a blessing in itself.

If you’re offering travel into the package, though, I’ll take three days in…hmmm, London or Edinburgh. Are you sure I can’t have six?

I’d either go to London or Ft. Lauderdale. I have friends in both places that I haven’t seen for a while.

Any day w/o rain, I’d ride my Triumph for the day, maybe over to the San Juan Islands (I live near seattle). Day 2, if ceiling was high enough I would fly my Cessna to (somewhere), maybe Montana for lunch. The third day I would take my labs (Huckleberry and Finneghan) for a long hike in the Cascade foothills along a river if I could find one that wasn’t rain swollen.

@Cardinal: Sounds like an amazing 3 days!

Forget my previous answer, I’m hanging out with Cardinal.

@JC (see how easy it is to change your name?) I’d explore neighborhoods and nearby towns that I haven’t had a chance to visit. Try a new coffee shop. Are you in Portland? I’d put on a UT or Bonnaroo t-shirt, and see how many displaced southerners I could flush out of the woodwork.

@AlfredaPrufrock: I wish!! Ive got some days off but not any extra cash, so Im going to do something along the lines of your first suggestion, but THANKS!!

I’d love to go abroad for three days, but realistically? Gallery hopping.

LanceVance's avatar

I’d sleep for a day and a half. Then, I’d hang out with friends and we’d play Desert Run 3 times. We’d make it in time.

JoeyDesignsStuff's avatar

Gas up and get to road trippin.
Hopefully I can make it to Texas and back in three days.

AlfredaPrufrock's avatar
