How do I patch a drupal module?

Asked by shivian (10points) October 17th, 2007

I have a drupal module that I want to patch, and found someone who’s made the patch code, but I don’t know how to “use” that code to make it work… http://drupal.org/node/150679

The patch you mention is “ready to be committed”, which means it’ll probably show up in the next version.

You can apply the patch yourself by copying the code and pasting it at the bottom of fivestar_field.inc in the modules/fivestar directory.
