My eye dr said see ya in a year. He won award for top dr but bedside manner was horrific. I’m upset. Idk what to do. I thought since he dilated my eye before the tear (schimers test) test it affected my eye dryness but he said no. I have extremely dry eyes but it’s not serious. Well after researching it online it seems serious.

Honey, don’t try to diagnose yourself online. There are so many maybes (maybe this, maybe that) that you can scare yourself sick. If you have concerns, see your doctor, and let him/her tell you if there is a need for concern. Some people just have dry eyes, and nothing more.

In the meantime, read this

There are eleven things doctors look at to diagnose Lupus.

There is also an online forum where you can ask a doctor specific questions if you want to.

I honestly don’t know. That’s why I suggested you ask your doctor. That’s the best source of information for what’s going on with you. He/she knows your history, what your levels are, and what they mean.

My Father had dry eyes and nothing more. He just got some “artificial tear” drops for the problem.

@missjena; I am sympathetic, but you seem to have a disease du jour. Dry eyes, precancer, node issues, scalp infections, itching and other medical concerns. Surely you’d be better off getting a complete work-up to assuage your fears.

If you are dealing with anxiety, then tell us that. No one here is going to give you medical advice, if he or she has any sense

Shilolo has a wife, a toddler, an infant, a medical practice and occasionally needs to sleep and eat.
