What is the best website for finding free woodworking plans?

Specifically, I’m interested in building furniture. Probably bookcases, to start with. I’m not looking for plans for 2×4s or cinderblocks + shelves, but nice furniture.

I have intermediate woodworking experience, and have even built a small bookcase in the past but it’s been a while. Any tips or advice you can give me will be appreciated, too. Thanks!

good luck on finding anything free, lots of plans for sale though :-) I looked for a long time and finally gave up and just designed my own.

I have found a lot of helpful advice at Sawmill Creek. There aren’t a whole lot of plans there, but there are a lot of incredibly talented and experienced people who are willing to help with any aspect of woodworking, including finding/making designs.
