Fellow Canadians: How pissed off are you about the comments on Fox made mocking Canada?

You shouldn’t be watching Fox anyway. It’s pure garbage.

Faux News is a company that’s big among American rednecks and ultraconservative mouthbreathers and owned by some billionaire from the UK. As long as the rest of us know all the good things about Canada, who cares what those losers at Faux think?

I don’t need to listen to what little minded bigots in America say about my country. We aren’t going through half as bad of a recession as they are, so for all intents and purposes, their peabrained knowledge does not apply one bit to us.

They rile people up for ratings. I think they’re all actors, ultimately. Pay them no mind.

Fox is such a joke. All I ever seem to see on Fox is a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals taking a masturbatory delight in hearing themselves spew ignorant, elitist, narrow-minded drivel.

I occasionally tune in just to remind myself that some people like that truly do exist south of the border. I think it’s dangerous to ignore their existence, even though I would like to think that the majority of people see them for what they are. Complacency resulted in people like Hitler rising to power, after all. For example, could you imagine what would happen if someone like Ann Coulter tried running for political office and got any serious backing? I don’t understand how someone that intelligent can be so pathologically bigoted, hypocritical and, frankly, delusional. (I loved seeing Al Franken call her out.)

For the record, I’ve heard much more insulting comments made about Canada than the ones referred to in the petition. I have my doubts that a petition such as this one will really encourage Fox to make changes in their programming. They like the attention.
