Looking at the questions stimulates my thinking and clarifies it.

It exposes me to new ideas and new bits of information. Musical artists, humorous videos, etc.

I have made some good virtual friends here.

It’s been a very supportive community, and has helped me improve my mental health. It has shown me that people can appreciate what I do, and that more than one or two people do appreciate it. It has shown me that some people like to hear what I have to say. It has made me appreciate myself a tiny bit more.

It keeps me sane!!! I need at least one Q and A site to unwind on :) I know that sounds really sad but I find sites like this very relaxing!

It gives me online friends to socialize with. That means I can be social without getting out of bed. This is a huge benefit.

It also teaches me all sorts of new things which is wonderful.

It’s broadened my horizons and given me new perspectives that I might otherwise not have considered.

It gives me instant, brain picking, access to to myriad of people from all walks of life.

It makes me laugh.

It’s generally a very supportive and kind group.

It’s social.

Fluther has given me access to people’s ideas, which are usually my favorite parts of people anyway.

I like it, it teaches me things, and we are never too old to learn. And what Daloon said, as well.
