Where can previous Last Sale prices for company stocks be found?

Asked by bacnaib (29points) April 4th, 2009

In my Economics class we have an ongoing project where we have to pretend to own stocks and every week we must make at least one transaction. I’ve been out of town and unable to keep my transactions updated and in order to make that time up, I need to know various Last Sale Prices since March 10th. I’ve had no luck finding archives adn such on NASDAQ. ANy advice or helpful tips?

You might want to check out www.weseed.com. It’s a virtual stock market site. You manage an imaginary portfolio on there.

You could not have looked very hard as there are sites all over the place. Yahoo Finance is one of the easiest to use. Go to the “get quotes” box in the upper left corner of the screen. That will get you started. Select “chart” and the period of interest. You’ll find high and lows, opening, closing, volume, in chart form. There is also section for “Historical prices” where you can get the numbers in tabular form.
