Technical Question Here: Why do my accounts not save passwords when shut laptop lid?

Asked by RedPowerLady (12598points) April 6th, 2009

So I know it isn’t exactly the safest thing but for convenience’s sake I let my computer remember my passwords. Then it’ll automatically sign me in to several websites etc… Now I’ve been doing this for quite some time. Suddenly ever time I shut the lid to my computer it all restarts. Nothing is saved and I have to re-enter everything. What’s Up? Is there preference I can change on my computer to stop this??

What Browser (IE, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome) and OS (OS X, Linux, XP, or Vista) are you using? Kinda hard to know without that info.
